    Default Unreal Tournament III

Anyone here play any of the Unreal series? I only just picked up UTIII for the 360 and I love it, split screen online is the best, reminds me of Halo but the weapons are easier/more fun to use. I do have UT2004 for PC but, I've never played it (got it free with computer), I think I might give it a go.

Splitscreen is always good lol .

I'd never played any of the UT games until UT3 on 360. Campaign was cool, although I did find it quite repetative and not much different to online. Except of course for nodes, but I officially don't like node levels lol.

No nodes weren't my favourite either. After a couple of missions, it was often a deciding factor on whether I continued playing or not, or go back to it later. If it was a node, 90% of the time the 360 went off lol.

the UT games have the best bots of any game. I remember UT2003 - I even have the original UT for the pc - I remember re-creating the levels from goldeneye on the N64 just to play them with the UT engine - its been ages since ive played any of them though...

That sounds cool, how did you do that?
All this talk about it makes me want to play it on the PC too. If only to see if I can play it on the PC lol .

lol - there was a program that came with the original ut game called unrealed - i think you can still get it - its pretty difficult to use at first, though I'm sure if you just check for 'unreal <version> maps' on google you will get loads of them!

Dual is definitely weird but, it's just so different to what Im used to so it's weird for that reason I think :P.

I still havent tried UT2004, there's no achievement points in it for me so I doubt I will .

Achievement..............no won't say it, it's a bannable offence on some sites, but, it begins with w and I'm one too (and achievement w )

Yeah, different is definitely the word. However it's interesting at the same time. Personally I get bored of waiting and is why I don't play gears often, no respawn :\.

Thanks for the info localhost, I'll have a look on google . Know I've got the game somewhere so I'm halfway there .

Anyone up for a game of UT3 on the 360 today? Ive bored myself with Halo 3 and I fancy a game of unreal. Its the respawn time I think, you're right there Bex, its a great game to just pick up and play, less delays when you commit suicide lol.
