Thread: DivX players

    Default DivX players

I'm sure most of you own a DVD player, but if you get one for the car or a second one, I suggest you make sure it has DivX if you often download those online web show series as they are often in DivX format. You can simply burn them onto a CD/DVD without converting it, and they will play on these DVD players. I have a portable one for the car and it's great.

Cost me ~$100 if I remember correctly, anyone else have one?

My friend uses the official divx player ie. the one that divx sells. He raves about it and goes on about how it's a must buy.

Personally I don't need one at the moment as my laptop is hooked up to my 32" LCD TV with an hdmi cable so I watch DivX movies directly using that.

I bought a cheap dvd player (I think it cost £30) that plays divx, WMA and AVI aswell as dvds and VCD's its worth it - you can squeeze five movies onto a dvd when they are in divx and it saves you a ton of money =)
