I thew out my old CRT television last year when I got my lcd tv. They take up too much room. You can't even give them away nowadays because lcds and plasmas are so cheap.
Tube TV
I still have them, and they get the job done but there is a significant difference when you're playing video games.
My 360 looks way better on my HDTV than on my standard definition. However, for non-gaming they're good enough.
With that being said, who still has a tube TV?

I agree that they are spacey, and yeah these modern TVs are a lot cheaper now but they're still not that cheap. A lot of those $500 TVs are crap, at least the ones I took a look at when I first bought my HDTV. The image quality was horrible on several of them, even on my old television it looked better. This was some time ago though, and I plan on getting another HDTV or even a plasma, so I guess I'll find out then.
