Whilst it can access the web, I don't think this would be very useful as typing would be a real pain.
If you intend on typing etc I would recommend getting something like the data surfer

im planning a cycle round europe this summer (900 miles over 25 days taking in 5 countries and ten major cities) I am going to get a new domain name and set up a website to document everything I do (including the training and all the prep work) but I will need some way to upload all the pictures and stuff from the road - I want a cheap option that will give me wifi and a browser - I was thinking about a DS - they are inexpensive and you can get a browser for them - has anyone ever used the browser on a DS ? is it any good ? or do you have any other ideas for me for a lightweight wifi enabled device that I can use to upload photos and blogs whilst im on the road.

My Current Setup
Gaming : PS3 (upgraded HD to 320GB : PS3 Username=SeargentBigSacs), PS2, Wii, PSP, DS Computing : Apple 27" iMac, Asus G1S, HP 2133, Asus N10J Mobile : Blackberry Bold 9700 (Previously HTC Hero, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia 8800 Sirocco) Audio : Apple Touch, Zune, Sony 2GB stick TV : 32" Samsung LCD
yeah, I saw these the other day - but the ones I was looking at didnt have built in wifi =| you would expect that from such a device, but apparently they had it when they announced it and took it out so that everyone would have to use their data service which uses a phone sim card =|
The browser that's available for the DS is crap, it's good for basic stuff but not for practical use.
The PSP has a better browser, but even then it's still limited. My advice, get a PDA with WiFi or one of those small laptops like that Asus EEEPC I believe it's called..
