Default Download Red Alert for free

    A great offer from EA.

You can now download the original Red Alert for free from the official EA website.

    Just this http://www.ea.com/redalert/news-detail.jsp?ncc=1&id=62

If you preorder RA3, you will also get RA2 for free

    A damn good deal.

I'm going to download this just now. I wish more companies would follow suit and do this.

I LOVE Red Alert, proper games when games were proper, none of this fancy schmancy graphics. I'm obtaining as we speak. Now all we need is Civilization 2, Transport Tycoon & Secret of Monkey Island and I won't leave the house!

Wow, it's an old game! I remember when it came out, I wanted it badly but just couldn't get it then. Guess I'm in luck now, good things come and all that .

Really nice move by EA to release it for free and to offer the free RA2 with RA3.

Fantastic! I was just in the best games of all time thread, and I forgot about c&c red alert, and I forgot about starcraft! Do you know if this works with vista ? I still have the original red alert nod disk! it didn't work on XP, ill try it anyway and see if it works now!

I downloaded both discs from this page. It comes with an xp fix. I tried installing it on vista but it didn't work right away. I just gave in after that and didn't take the time to find out why. I've got command and conquer downloaded from the psn for my ps3 and I still have the original red alert 2 disc for the pc lying around so I couldn't be bothered! Lazy i know. I've extracted the data so when I have time I'll try it again. But at the moment I'm in the middle of playing a few games so the incentive to spend time messing around with it is minimal.

Never played Red Alert myself, but for free, I think it's time to see what it's like .
    Thanks for the info .

I'm going to download this just now. I wish more companies would follow suit and do this. I LOVE Red Alert, proper games when games were proper, none of this fancy schematic graphics. I'm obtaining as we speak. Now all we need is Civilization 2, Transport Tycoon & Secret of Monkey Island and I won't leave the house! It is really amazing and outstanding offer to all. No one should miss it as it is really fantastic and wonderful.

Gonna check this out. I loved this back in the day but I never completed it. I think it's time I did.
