Alone in the Dark gets PS3 release date

Apparently, Alone in the Dark: Inferno will be released on 14th November for the PS3. I was a big fan of the original Amiga version so I'm keen to try this out.

It's coming out on the same day as Call of Duty 5 so I'll probably wait til after christmas and pick it up for a bit cheaper.

looks like the halflife 2 engine =) I'd go for call of duty first, cos you'll probably get a better game from that - you might be able to get this game after christmas for really cheap on ebay !

I wasn't too impressed with it. I played the 360 demo sometime ago and it was alright. There were some good elements in the game but nothing that really caught my attention. I don't have a PS3 but if I did, this is not a title I'd be looking forward. Resistance 2 on the other hand..

I just finished downloading the demo for the ps3. Bit late so will install tomorrow and see what it's like. Resistance 2 does look really good though I'm going to wait til it's a little cheaper.

It was suspenseful, so I'll give it that, and the way you could mix up weapons was pretty cool. But besides that I was not too satisfied with it although I prefer multiplayer games more so maybe I'm too picky at times.

Yeah the demo was ok but it didn't make me want to go out and buy the game. I'll maybe pick it up in a year once it hits the £9.99 range.
