Northerners Complain about Brain Training
Before I left America six months ago, I informed my London-born bank teller that I ws headed for Yorkshire, to which he replied, “Good luck understanding a word they tell you.”

Dr. Kawashima: A Gentleman and a Scholar
Dr. Kawashima, Japan’s most famous disembodied polygonal head has told the press that he won’t be collecting 2.4 billion yen (about 11-ish million pounds) in royalties from the UK megahit Brain Training franchise, but will instead donate the money to the university for which he works in order to fund further research.
