O2 and Carphone Warehouse are slashing the price of the 8gb iPhone to £169.
An O2 spokesman said :
The special offer will make the iPhone an unbeatable proposition in the market, helping O2 to further gain market share.
The 16gb version is still £329 however I’m sure this will come down in the next few months.

Samsung announces an iPhone competitor
Samsung have announced the release of a iphone killer mobile phone called Haptic (or to be more precise the Anycall Haptic SCH-W420). The phone apparently has a vibration feedback feature and has a digital broadcast TV receiver however it only has a 2-megapixel camera.
