Rumour : Xbox to get price cut in the USA next month

According to an insider via ArsTechnica, the price of the Xbox 360 will be reduced in the USA in September. Traditionally, price cuts in the USA are usually followed by cuts in the UK a few months later so hopefully these price cuts are true and hopefully they will be done in time for Christmas.

Here’s what the Xbox is apparently being reduced to :

• Arcade (no hard drive) to $199
• Pro (60GB) to $299
• Elite (120GB) to $399

Presently I have a Wii and a PS3 but I would be seriously tempted to get an Xbox Arcade if they dropped to just over a hundred pounds in the UK. Here’s hoping it does
