Guitar Hero III - Def Leppard Exclusive!

As an avid rock fan, I was surprised to learn that Def Leppard had been in the studio and it seems that they not only have a new single due for release, there’s also an album on the way. Being the canny promoters, they’re utilising the massive Guitar Hero fanbase with a tempting three-song track pack giving fans an exclusive opportunity to sample the band’s #1 new radio single, “Nine Lives,” five days before their upcoming studio album Songs from the Sparkle Lounge releases on April, 29, 2008.
““Nine Lives” is joined by Def Leppard classics “Photograph” and “Rock of Ages”, both from the Pyromania album that launched the band to stardom on both sides of the Atlantic.
Singer Joe Elliot is known as a fan of gaming, and it would seem that he has taken to Guitar Hero:
“Being involved with Guitar Hero is very exciting for us and adds a whole new layer of appreciation.
“I know from personal experience how much more you get into the music by playing the game - which is why we were keen to explore this opportunity. Guitar Hero is extremely popular with all kinds of music heads, which includes a lot of our fans- and we think releasing ‘Nine Lives’ this way first is just fantastic!”
The Def Leppard track pack will be available on Xbox LIVE from Microsoft on April 24, 2008 the PS3 version expected in May.

If you want to learn how to play like Def Leppard, you should seriously check out the great review of Jamorama. Why play the video game when you can actually learn how to play real music??
