New Kohjinsha SR8 to come with Integrated DVD

Singapore based Kohjinsha recently announced that their popular sub notebook SR8 will be released soon with an integrated DVD multi drive. I can’t think of many (if any) sub notebooks this small which have came with an integrated optical drive so this really is raising the benchmark in some respects.

The Kohjinsha SR8 is distributed in the UK via Vye PC with the SR8 being released as the ‘Vye mini-v S37B‘. The current price of the Vye 37B in the UK is about £799 however we should definately see this come down within the next few months. My prediction is that the new SR8 will be released around this £799 mark which should see the price of the non DVD version drop a hundred or so pounds at least.
