Super Smash Bros might not work on your Wii

Nintendo has announced that a % of Wii owners will have trouble playing the fourth coming Super Smash Bros. The problems have arisen because the game utilizes a double-layer disc which has a large memory capacity.

Nintendo explain on their support page that :

Super Smash Bros. Brawl utilizes a double-layer disc which has a large memory capacity. A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive. Nintendo has specialized cleaning equipment that can resolve this problem.

Although Nintendo are offering to help those who can’t play the game, I’d be more inclined just to return it to the place I bought it.
