Microsoft considering Blu-Ray drive for 360

Ariabian Business today reported that Microsoft is in talks with Sony about releasing a Blu-Ray Drive for the 360.

I think it would be a good move to secure the rights to using Blu Ray discs on the 360 as it would greatly increase the lifespan of the machine and would give the software developers more storage to play with (Konami recently said they couldnt release MGS4 on the 360 because of lack of space).

The big question is, if they do add blu-ray to the 360, will they include it in future versions of the machine or will they release a Blue-Ray add on drive like they did with the HD-DVD drive?
