A Blockbusters' memo that was leaked to Kotaku (and they have confirmed the information) today, shows that the price of the 40GB Sony Playstation 3 will be reduced from September 28th.
Blockbusters will then be selling the 40GB for $360 (plus a bundle with an HDMI cable, Spiderman the movie and the Transformers game for $400).
The 40GB PS3 is actually a discontinued model now so this could just be a way of clearing out some stock for Sony but, it's good to see them following the lead of Microsoft and lowering the cost of their consoles in time for Christmas.Hoping this price drop affects the UK so I can grab a cheap PS3 .
