Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 gets release date of 30th September 2008

Engadget have announced (http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/10/sony-ericsson-launching-first-round-of-xperia-x1s-on-september-3/) that the Xperia X1 will be released at the end of this month

The X1 is an awesome looking phone. It's a slider phone which will be good for texting and data entry however it also has a lot of other great features including a 3.2mp camera, gps hsdpa etc.

Wow :O. I haven't seen it before, it's amazing. I love SE phones so I don't know how this slipped past me. Shame it doesn't have a better camera but, Sony cameras are so good it wont matter lol.

From the pictures, it's a smexy phone :p, but I don't think I could use it. Not the right kind of slider phone for me. I'll wait till the C905 ;), but I wouldn't say no to this one either :).

Apart from the improved camera, does the C905 have any other advantages over the Xperia X1? I don't think the C905 has most of the Xperia features :p.

Ummm I don't think so. It's been a while since I looked at the specs though :o. I think I read wlan in it :D, so that and an 8mp camera is great for me - huge difference ;).

Seems I was wrong, and you don't know much :p.
The C905 will have wifi and GPS, 3g, motion sensor, and loads more stuff from the looks of it :). Perhaps wise to wait for that one then :).

I did wonder if it did, but I didn't want to sound like a noob and say it. I shoulda checked too lol. I was lazy :o.
