Sony brought out a cool new mp3 player recently. You can get it in 4 or 8gb versions and the player plays video too however the main draw is the packaged wireless headphones.

It can transfer files using bluetooth and you can use drag and drop to sort music on it. I personally hate using software so this is a big plus for me.

Apparently has 35+hours of battery life for music too. I'm thinking of maybe getting a new mp3 player in the next few months and I'm tempted with this. The wireless headphones are a big draw too. Currently around £130 for the 8gb version but that should come down before christmas.

That looks wicked :D. I hadn't seen them before now but, I've been looking to buy a cheap/used ipod so seeing this is great timing - Id much rather spend a little extra and get wireless headphones and a Sony product :D.

I just wish that phones came with a standard headphone jack on them - I am a pro audio engineer -I have headphones that cost USD300 - far superior to any crap you get with a phone, but I cant use them with it, I have headphones for my ipod that cost me USD 200, and I cant use them either =(

Why can't you use them on your ipod?

That seems a little excessive to me :o lol.
Quite a lot of phones are getting the point with regards to a headjack socket. And for those that haven't, you can buy an adapter for most. I've got one for my K800i :).

Yeah mine was really cheap too :D.

If by my understanding, the headphones are wireless because they are bluetooth?
In that respect, if the headphones are available to purchase separately, could they not be connected to the phone via bluetooth (assuming you have bluetooth)?
