I noticed today that Play have the new PS3 keypad on preorder. It's due for release on 28th November and will cost £17.99.

I personally don't think thats worth it but no doubt it will sell well to under 18s.

That arcade stick looks hot, as for the keypad looks a lot like the messenger thing for the 360, which I thought was a rip off.

I probably would get the arcade stick I had that console and had the spare cash for it as indeed it will be great for the new SF game.

the stick looks awesome! the 'keypad' looks like a pile of crap. why dont they just make a decent keyboard, or let people use the usb keyboards you can get for pc's ? or can you already do that ?

I've never owned an arcade stick but one of my best friends had one years ago and it was great. Worth the money if you play fighting games a lot.

I think the messaging thing looks ok. It might come in handy if you have a lot of online friends etc. But for me, £17.99 is way too pricey. £7.99 is the most I'd pay for it...and even then I'd grudge it. You can already use a USB keyboard so there is no real need for it unless, like I said, you are messaging all the time.

The thing is I use my headset most of the time and rarely send text messages via Xbox Live. Plus most of my friends have a headset as well so no need to be sending text messages.

As for the arcade stick, I've read bad reviews about the Mad Katz one for the 360. Not sure about the PS3 one but I will say that this one looks a lot more sleeker than it's 360 counterpart.
