View Full Version : Anyone been using Google Chrome
Google's brand new browser was released today. Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/) has been designed from scratch and has been released for windows operating systems (mac and linux versions to follow).
I've only been using it a few hours but first impressions are pretty good. It's supposed to be really secure but as I can't really comment on any feature until I've been using it a bit longer.
Looks like Firefox has finally got a serious competitor (Internet Explorer doesn't count!!)

I've been using Chrome for a couple of days. It looks great, it seems faster than Firefox (and obviously Internet Explorer ;)) and it seems promising. It's only at beta I know but, I have to go back to Firefox - I miss the extensions and addons I have on Firefox. Maybe when Chrome is finished and devs make the extensions I need, I'll go back to it.
Ooh I hadn't heard of it. I might try it now though I do love my Firefox <3

I have seen Google Chrome and might try it later but I like using IE for some reason probably because I have used it for loads of years know and use to it.

now this is some news! the best part about the browser is that its going to be open sourced which means although they will have the keys for the lock which will actually be opened. thats amazing when everyone can contribute. within a few hours the chrome captured about 1% of the market. however google says it wants a monopoly over every important business share so how can they leave this one behind.?? also the chrome has got some striking features from the firefox as well as opera so it makes it pretty adaptable. some shiny new featurres. i am sure its here to stay.
