Do you have/want a netbook?

There are netbooks everywhere you turn these days (for me there is at least :D). I really would like one just to surf the net with if nothing else but, my problem is that there are too many to choose from. That means Im waiting for Sony to release a netbook and Ill probably grab that.

Do you have a netbook or do you have your sights set on a particular netbook model? Are netbooks just a fad that will go away soon?

There definately not a fad. I think the netbook is here to stay.

I got the first netbook, the eee 701. The keyboard was terrible though so in May I bought a 1.6 HP 2133. It's quite slow sometimes because it uses vista but the keyboard is amazing. I usually use my normal laptop during the day but if I'm feeling lazy I'll lie in bed and use my netbook. It's great for travelling too (obviously).

one of my friends has an asus eeepc, I want the gigabyte M12 (i think thats what its called - its a little touchscreen one) they are excellent for doing stuff on the net, but not really for much else. but i have other computers todo the other stuff I need to do =)
